King Cake with Apple and Cream Cheese filling

16 Pilsbury Reduced fat Crescent rolls
8 ounce light cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled & chopped
3 tbsp cinnamon sugar

1 cup powdered sugar
3 tablespoons colored sugar
2 tbsp skim milk

Preheat oven to 350.

Beat cream cheese, 1/3 cup powdered sugar and vanilla together until smooth. Separate crescent roll pieces of dough and arrange on a 13″ round pizza pan with long points in the center. Roll dough to seal in th ecenter of the dough, leaving the points loose.

Spread cream cheese mixture over the dough. Top with apple pieces and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Fold dough up around the edge and fold the point in the center over that, turking them under the edge.

Bake 20-25 minutes.

Mix together cup of powdered sugar and milk until smooth for icing. Drizzle over warm cake. Sprinkle colored sugar over icing.
